JENKINS WORLD – San Francisco, CA – August 28, 2017 – The DevOps Institute today announced that they are partnering with Cloudbees to offer a DevOps Practitioner series certification course: DevOps Leader. Pre-conference training is a great way to further your knowledge and enhance your conference experience.

The DevOps Institute is particularly proud to offer this course at Jenkins World, the largest gathering of Jenkins users in the world and a multi-day event comprised of sessions, workshops, training and other learning opportunities.

The DevOps Institute is the continuous learning community around emerging DevOps practices. Working with recognized thought leaders and strategic examination partner PEOPLECERT, the DevOps Institute is setting the quality standard for DevOps competency based training and qualifications. The DevOps Practitioner courses support IT roles for the modern enterprise. Each new DevOps certification course is focused towards continually addressing the emerging and evolving needs of IT professionals and organizations worldwide. Jenkins World and the DevOps Institute are offering this specific course because it is uniquely suited to Jenkins World attendees: DevOps Leader is the first certification that specifically covers the new, emerging and innovative principles and practices for leading DevOps’ cultural transformation.

“Jenkins World is the perfect place to highlight this new DevOps Practitioner course. The content of the DevOps Leader course represents the most current and emerging practices that are delivering real value to real organizations,” says Kohsuke Kawaguchi, CTO of CloudBees and founder of the Jenkins project. “Jenkins isn’t all you need to lead a DevOps transformation within an organization, so it’s great to see courses like these which will enable Jenkins World attendees to deliver high-quality software faster and more frequently.”
