The Commitment of the DevOps Institute Ambassador (DOIA)
Be a Human of DevOps pioneer to help people interested in DevOps Institute’s open global community and resources
As a DOIA, you will be an important resource and the face of the global Humans of DevOps community to support people interested in the DevOps Institute global community membership and resources and its corresponding initiatives and events built to support them. We will provide you with guidance on how to best represent DevOps Institute as an Ambassador and provide support for you to build and advance the community.
As a DOIA, help local community members learn more about DevOps Institute global community, membership, resources & initiatives.
As a DOIA, you will organize and host local DevOps Institute SKILup events. DevOps Institute will provide resources to help you set up your SKILup event and ongoing support such as swag, credits, and reimbursements for approved costs associated with running your first community-based SKILup event. You would be expected to run your subsequent SKILup events on your own with the help of DevOps Institute and other enterprises, Individuals, community builders from your own network, and the network of others involved. You are welcomed to invite other local resources and thought leaders to help you stand up your first and subsequent SKILup.
As a DOIA, you will be a public-facing community representative, passionate about supporting the community to advance the human elements of DevOps which is the core mission of DevOps Institute.
You can choose the way you are most comfortable representing DevOps Institute whether that’s through public speaking, standing events like SKILup, or written content such as blogs, forums, social media groups, channels, and other mediums. We will work with you to find the best fit and provide you with resources to help you be successful as a DevOps Institute Ambassador. Of course, DOIA can also nominate potential Ambassadors aligned with DOIA objectives.
